I have made comments and suggestions below, indenting my text so that it appears in these little boxes. Please work to address my suggestions and then get rid of these boxes --Dr. Byrne 15:58, 30 January 2008 (EST)
[edit] Where to find images
Can you put this list in context? Why are we interested in such a list. Actually, you have some of the answers on the disucssion tab of this article. Bring what is appropriate over into the article itself.
Google Image Search - General images search, will lead you to all different types of copyrighted material.
What leads you to believe that all of the images are copyrighted?
Creative Commons - Images licensed under Creative Commons, see below for details on licenses.
Stock Exchange - Offers images for free (over 200,000 photos).
Probably a good idea to mention why those image collections are of special utility for us.
Morgue File - Providing "...free image reference material for use in all creative pursuits.
Flickr (Creative Commons Search) - People share photos.
Rather than just say 'Creative Commons Search' please specify where flickr specifies its policy. I cannot easily find that on the site.
Image*After - Free photos
Again, do they specify?
Everystockphoto - Over 283,000 free photos.
Studio.25 - Free photos.
Freepixels - About 2000 photos.
The Photoshop tutorial blog - A compilation of other free image resources.
Did you drill down into any of these resources (or find any other content- specific collections) that might be of special interest to the biomedical sciences?
Any image published prior to January 1, 1923
Yes, and what about such images?
